Located in Umalas Bali, The Basket is a one stop meeting place for freshly baked goods, breakfast and Japanese fusion.

We opened in August 2023 and is located on Jl. Bumbak, Umalas, an area nestled between Canggu and Seminyak. On our soft opening, we proudly introduced our artisanal baked goods, prepared daily at our premise. We begin the day with croissants, sourdoughs, danishes, accompanied by our specialty coffees and teas. Since then, our bakery has emerged into a full fledged restaurant, serving both quality interpretations of American breakfast and comfort power food, Japanese influenced dishes such as soba, sushi rolls and daring interpretations of the region.

The Basket’s interior, designed by a renowned local architect, reflects the hip sensibilities of a New York brasserie while also paying tribute to Bali’s beautiful landscape. It is a cool, all day meeting spot, beginning at 7am all through an intimate dining experience at night.

At the heart of our restaurant is our service, where our staff greets you with a warm smile and provides a comfortable space for you to meet, hangout or work. Crafted with love, our motto “fresh coffee, comfort food, good vibe” is reflected at each and everything we do at The Basket.
